IGN Sold to Ziff Davis

Honestly, I'm not sure that I really check IGN all-that-much anymore as there are much better and less biased places to get gaming news, opinions and previews, but they are one of the big dogs, without a doubt. They have apparently been sold off to Ziff Davis, who has been big on owning internet and print properties for a long time and whose portfolio has been streamlined over the years.

The acquisition of IGN includes all of IGN's subsidiaries, which funny enough, includes 1Up.com, a property that Ziff Davis sold off to IGN. [Source]
